World-renowned architect Richard Meier is reproducing and expanding his timeless collection of furniture with Wiebe Elzenga of Strada from the Netherlands.
The furniture evokes the craftsmanship of classic mortise and reflects Meier’s strong formal vocabulary of architectural expression.
Richard Meier: “In my product designs, as in my architecture, I adhere to a modernist vocabulary, focusing on proportion, scale, and the manipulation of basic, strong geometry. Working on the design of furniture and objects for daily life I am conscious of participating in a tradition of designing for what might be considered a complete lifestyle.”
The Richard Meier Collection for Strada now includes a chair, low and high stools, a low table and a high table, a day bed and a rocking chaise.
